1. Overview

This Subscription & Purchase Policy is issued by Zentrovaapps (SMC-Private) Limited (Incorporation No. 0344416) and applies to all in-app purchases and subscriptions offered in any application we publish on Google Play.

Who takes your payment. Every purchase and subscription is sold and billed by Google Play, using the payment method saved to your Google account. Zentrovaapps does not process payments and never sees your card, bank or wallet details. Because Google is the merchant of record, cancellations and refunds are managed through your Google account rather than by us directly.

2. What the free version includes

Every Zentrovaapps App can be downloaded and used free of charge. The free version includes the core remote-control functionality — device discovery, pairing, the full button layout, volume and playback control — and is supported by advertisements served through Google AdMob. You are never required to purchase anything to control your device.

3. Paid plans and what they unlock

Apps may offer any combination of the options below. The exact plans, durations and prices available to you are always displayed on the purchase screen inside the App before you confirm any transaction, and on the App's Google Play listing.

OptionBillingWhat it does
Weekly subscriptionAuto-renews every week Removes all advertising and unlocks Premium Features for as long as the subscription is active
Monthly subscriptionAuto-renews every month Same as above, billed monthly
Yearly subscriptionAuto-renews every 12 months Same as above at a lower effective rate, billed annually
Lifetime (one-time purchase)Single payment, never renews Permanent ad-free access and Premium Features for that App, tied to your Google account
Remove Ads (one-time purchase)Single payment, never renews Disables advertising only; other Premium Features are not included

Premium Features typically include an ad-free interface, additional remote layouts and shortcuts, on-screen keyboard and text entry, saving multiple devices, custom button arrangements, and priority email support. Feature sets differ between Apps and are described on each purchase screen.

Each purchase applies to one App only. Buying a subscription or lifetime unlock in one Zentrovaapps application does not remove ads or unlock features in any of our other applications. Purchases are not transferable between Apps.

4. Pricing, currency and tax

  • Prices are set per country and are shown in your local currency on the purchase screen.
  • The price displayed by Google Play includes any applicable sales tax, VAT or GST where Google is required to collect it.
  • Currency conversion, foreign-transaction fees or charges applied by your bank or card issuer are your responsibility.
  • Promotional or introductory pricing, where offered, applies only for the stated period. After that period the plan renews at the standard price for your country, which is disclosed before you subscribe.

5. Free trial terms

Selected plans may include a free trial. Where a trial is offered, the following applies and is also shown on the purchase screen before you commit:

  • The trial length (for example 3 days or 7 days) and the price that will be charged when it ends are both stated clearly before you start;
  • A valid payment method on your Google account is required to begin a trial;
  • You are not charged during the trial period;
  • If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and your payment method is charged the full price of the selected plan, and it renews from then on until cancelled;
  • Cancelling during the trial keeps your Premium access until the trial's original end date, after which no charge is made;
  • Free trials are limited to one per Google account per App. Google may decline a trial if you have used one for the same App before;
  • Any unused portion of a trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends.

6. Auto-renewal and billing cycle

Subscriptions renew automatically. Unless you cancel, your subscription continues indefinitely and your payment method is charged at the start of each new billing period.

  • Payment is charged to your Google account at confirmation of purchase;
  • Google attempts to renew the subscription within the 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price then in effect for your plan and country;
  • Each renewal extends access for one further period of the same length;
  • Google Play sends renewal receipts to the email address on your Google account, and you can review every charge in your Google Play order history;
  • Cancelling stops future renewals only — it does not shorten or refund the period you are currently paying for.

7. One-time lifetime purchase

A lifetime or Remove Ads purchase is a single, non-recurring payment. It does not renew and cannot be cancelled, because there is no ongoing charge to stop.

"Lifetime" means the operational lifetime of the App concerned: the entitlement remains valid on your Google account for as long as we publish and support that App and it remains compatible with your device and with Google Play. It is not a guarantee that the App will be published, supported or functional indefinitely, and it does not cover other applications we publish.

8. Restoring purchases and device limits

Your purchase is attached to the Google account used to make it, not to a single handset. If you change phone, reinstall the App or clear its data:

  1. Sign in to the same Google account on the new device;
  2. Install the App from Google Play;
  3. Open the App and go to Settings → Restore purchases (the App also checks automatically on launch).

Entitlements bought through Google Play may also be shared with your Google Play Family group where Google supports and you have enabled family sharing for that product. If a purchase does not restore, contact support@zentrovaapps.com with the order ID from your Google Play receipt and we will help.

9. Upgrading, downgrading and price changes

Switching plans

You may switch between plans at any time from the purchase screen. Google Play applies a proration credit for the unused portion of your current plan according to its own rules. Upgrades generally take effect immediately; downgrades generally take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices. If we do, Google Play will notify you in advance in accordance with its policies and applicable law, normally by email and through an in-app notice. Depending on your region, a price increase either requires your explicit acceptance before it applies, or gives you a clear opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel and your subscription ends at the close of the current period. A price change never applies retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

10. How to cancel

You can cancel a subscription at any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fee. Cancellation is done through Google Play — uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription and you will continue to be billed.

On an Android phone or tablet

  1. Open the Google Play Store app;
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top right;
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions;
  4. Select the Zentrovaapps subscription you want to end;
  5. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

On a computer

  1. Go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions;
  2. Sign in with the Google account used for the purchase;
  3. Find the subscription and click Manage → Cancel subscription.

Cancel in time. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period or free trial ends. After cancelling, you keep Premium access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the App reverts to the free, ad-supported version.

11. Refunds

Because Google is the seller of record, refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy.

  • Within 48 hours of purchase you can usually request a refund directly through Google Play, either in the Play Store app under your order history or at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory.
  • After 48 hours, refund requests are handled by Google and, where Google refers the request to us, considered by us on a case-by-case basis.
  • We will support a refund request where an App is materially defective, where a Premium Feature you paid for cannot be delivered, or where you were charged in error or more than once for the same product.
  • Refunds are not normally given for a change of mind after the service has been used, for a subscription period that has already elapsed, for forgetting to cancel before a renewal or trial ended, or where your device turns out not to be supported and this was disclosed before purchase.
  • Any refund is issued by Google to the original payment method. Processing times are set by Google and your payment provider.

Statutory rights. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another territory with mandatory consumer-protection law, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal — in the EU and UK, generally 14 days for digital content, which you may waive by choosing to begin using the content immediately. Nothing in this policy limits those rights. Contact us and we will honour them.

For any billing problem, email support@zentrovaapps.com with the App name, the order ID from your Google Play receipt and a description of the issue. We reply within two business days.

12. Failed payments and grace periods

If a renewal payment fails — for example because a card has expired or has insufficient funds — Google Play may place your subscription in a grace period or on hold while it retries the charge and asks you to fix the payment method. During a grace period Premium access normally continues; once a subscription goes on hold, Premium Features are suspended and the App returns to its free, ad-supported state until payment succeeds. If payment is never completed, the subscription is cancelled automatically by Google.

13. If an App is discontinued

If we permanently withdraw an App from Google Play, we will stop accepting new subscriptions for it and will not charge further renewals. Existing subscribers keep access for the remainder of the period they have paid for. Where an active paid subscription is cut short by our decision to discontinue the App, we will ask Google to refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis. One-time purchases are not refundable on discontinuation once the App has been delivered and used, except where required by law.

14. Advertising after purchase

Once an ad-removing purchase or subscription is active and verified, the App stops requesting advertisements entirely and no advertising data is collected for that App, as described in our Privacy Policy. If ads reappear, it is almost always because the entitlement has not been restored on that device — open Settings → Restore purchases, or contact us if that does not resolve it. If a subscription lapses or is cancelled, advertising resumes when the paid period ends.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect new plans, changes to Google Play's rules or changes in applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be notified in advance through the App, this website or Google Play. Changes never apply retroactively to a billing period already paid for.
